TECHNICAL

MECHANICAL DESIGN

The Design team is responsible for creating strategic solutions to engineering problems and modeling them in high-fidelity. Masters of CAD software, they model every part of a robot before it’s ever built and are the first step in our build process.

MECHANICAL Fabrication

The Mechanical Fabrication team is responsible for bringing the design of a robot to reality using precision machinery and complex manufacturing processes. Using a wide variety of tools, the fabrication is able to produce a robot under the high pressure of a build season schedule.

Electrical

The electrical subteam works on important tasks such as wiring the robot, soldering critical components, and ensuring seamless integration for each mechanical component. These operations are critical to ensure that the robot can communicate internally while travelling at high speeds in unknown environments.

Programming

During the build season, the programming subteam engages in testing and debugging to refine the code and optimize the robot's performance. They transform the team’s ideas into lines of readable code that can lead our robot to execute actions with utmost efficiency. Here, team members collaborate with each other to write algorithms, automations, and make the robot come to life for competitions.
